Gustavsson allowed three goals on 40 shots as the Bruins rallied for a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 4 at Joe Louis Arena on Thursday. The Bruins lead the best of seven series 3-1 with Game 5 on Saturday. Gustavsson said he found out just before pre-game warm-ups that there was a chance hed start in place of Howard, who led the Red Wings onto the ice. The decision was made not long before puck drop as Babcock said of Howard: "Last second, he just couldnt go." The team announced that Howard had the flu. Also, veteran winger Daniel Alfredsson practiced on Friday and was confident that hell be ready to play on Saturday. Alfredsson was scratched for the Red Wings in Game 4 as he continues to deal with back problems. "I skated today and felt good," he told reporters. TORONTO – It was the kind of save that can change the course of a game and Jonathan Bernier made it in the early moments of an eventual rout of the Canucks. Christian Okoye Super Bowl Jersey . Bernier stopped a season-high 44 shots on Saturday night, but it was the point-blank save on Radim Vrbata with zeroes still on the board in the first frame that propelled the Leafs to their fifth win in seven games (5-1-1). Scoring first is all-important to Toronto – still a perfect 11-0-0 when they manage the games first goal – and thats precisely why the early stop was so critical. The Leafs were stumbling around some in those first moments; they needed a big save and got it. Bernier added another such stop just a minute or so later, turning down Alex Edlers trip from the point into a wide-open slot. Randy Carlyle observed that Bernier saved our butts with the two stops, allowing Torontos second-ranked offensive attack to get in gear en route to a 5-2 win. We found a way to get our offence going, Carlyle said, but I think Bernie was the catalyst for sure. It was one of the finer starts of a season thats been not nearly as impressive as the one that preceded it. Berniers numbers are down across the board in his second season as the Leafs tentative no. 1. Hes not been near the force of last season, nor has he needed to be quite as often. Hes had some early season woes, Carlyle acknowledged. I think he would be the first one to say that he wasnt as sharp as he needed to be. The 26-year-old entered the night with an .897 save percentage in the seven starts that preceded Saturdays sterling effort, yielding five goals for the second time this season in a loss to the Devils on Thursday. But he was locked in against the Canucks, holding them at bay amid a furious pushback in the final 40 minutes, which included a litany of Vancouver power-plays. I think he was the difference, said Korbinian Holzer. …he made the big stops that kept us in [the game] and give us a chance to build up the lead. At the end he was huge again and played an overall great game. Amongst the league-leaders with a .933 save percentage at even-strength last season, Bernier entered Saturdays play with a .921 mark, his effectiveness also dipping slightly on the penalty kill despite fewer shots against. Overall, he boasts a .916 save percentage this season, dipping from the mighty .923 mark he set a year ago. And yet Carlyle has run with him for the better part of two months, allowing the former first round pick to cement himself as the Leafs top dog in goal. Saturday marked his eight consecutive start, matching a career-high. We just felt that we were going to give him the ball here to run with, Carlyle said, noting a light schedule with a majority of home games. That faith was rewarded against Vancouver. Tonight I felt really good, said Bernier. I was seeing the puck well and obviously Ive played these guys quite a bit … I was trying to stay patient tonight and stay on my feet as much as possible. Five Points 1. Four-Line Depth That the Leafs could score five on yet another quiet night for the top line is wholly representative of the improved offensive depth they boast this season. It was the trio of Peter Holland, David Clarkson and Joffrey Lupul supplying much of the attack for Toronto, the fourth line additionally chipping in with a goal from Richard Panik. The 23-year-old Panik was actually late in jumping on the ice just before his goal, the gleeful celebration that followed his beating Ryan Miller indicative of that. I dont know if he was day-dreaming or what he was doing, Carlyle said with a grin, [but] I think thats why he was a little excited, because he was a little embarrassed by what happened. Panik has scored five times now, despite garnering less than nine minutes per game – none of which comes with the man advantage. Hes made a strong bid for more ice-time, doing what he can at this point to earn Carlyles trust. Thats the thing, said Panik. I think the coach doesnt know me that well. But each game Ive got to play a hard game and earn a spot. Everyone earned it in training camp, [but] I didnt have that opportunity. Even if I play five minutes Ive got to play hard and earn that spot in the top-nine. Carlyle called that fourth unit – which also included David Booth and Trevor Smith – difference makers against the Canucks. They werent hemmed in our end, he said. And interestingly enough, he noted his growing comfort with the line, feeling no fear in situations where they might be stuck on the ice versus an opposing teams top line – such as on an icing. Thats where, at this stage with those players, we dont really have to worry as we had to before, Carlyle said. The Leafs boast 11 players with at least four goals. 2. Stepping Up Torontos penalty kill has taken a couple of key personnel hits in the past couple weeks, first losing Roman Polak to a knee injury and then Leo Komarov to a concussion. Their absence had been felt prior a perfect showing against the Canucks. The Leafs had allowed a power-play goal in three of the previous four games, but on Saturday they stuffed Vancouver entirely in six attempts. Daniel Winnik played more than eight minutes in such duty, Dion Phaneuf and Cody Franson adding more than seven minutes apiece on the blue-line. Bernier, meanwhile, was perfect with the 10 shots he faced. Our PK guys did a heck of a job for us and our goalie was outstanding, Carlyle said. 3. Surge The luck factor has certainly changed for Joffrey Lupul since he returned from a broken right hand late last month. Despite strong underlying numbers, Lupul had just a pair of goals and three points in the nine games before he was hurt, dubbing it one of the toughest stretches of luck hed ever had. I think I was hitting posts or cross-bars every game, he said. Lupul has conversely managed four goals and seven points in five games upon return, chasing Miller with the fourth Toronto goal on Saturday. Earlier in the year I had some really tough luck, Lupul said Saturday morning. I thought I had a lot of opportunities that normally wouldve went in. So I was quite happy with the way I was playing earlier in the year and now Ive come back and I think Ive gotten better each game. Two constant keys for the 31-year-old: playing physically and driving hard to the net. Those are the two things I lean on when Im not having success and I cant really figure out why, he said. But the head coach would like to see Lupul simplify things, relying less on individual tactics and the turnovers they tend to cause. When he does that his effectiveness drops, Carlyle said. Wed like to see him be more of a straight line shooter, one who creates offence off the cycle from time to time. Lupul played only 13 minutes against the Canucks, scoring on his only shot while also managing a helper on David Clarksons empty-netter. 4. Rising Stock Indicative of his growing faith in the 24-year-old, Carlyle turned to Nazem Kadri – and linemates, Daniel Winnik and Mike Santorelli – to oppose Vancouvers sturdy top trio of the Sedin twins and Radim Vrbata. And the strategy proved mostly effective. Kadri had a 40 per cent Corsi mark against the Canucks, which looks better when held in view against Vancouvers 91-47 advantage for the game. I thought Nazzie was good defensively, said Carlyle. He didnt play high-risk, high-reward … I thought [that line] did a good job. 5. Concussed Missing his third straight game Saturday, Leo Komarov is no closer to returning from a concussion. Komarov has skated just once since he was hit by Alex Ovechkin one week ago, remaining off the ice entirely otherwise. Given the unpredictability of the injury its unclear when exactly hell return, but next weekend would appear the earliest possible date. Komarov hasnt practiced once since he was concussed and Monday is the earliest he could participate in that first one. One practice wont be enough though in light of the long layoff and since the Leafs play back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday, Saturday at home versus Detroit is the most optimistic bet for his return to the lineup. Thats assuming all goes well. Komarov managed to skate briefly on Thursday, but then remained off the ice the following two days. Its entirely possible that he misses another full week, a definite hit for the Leafs given his array of offerings. Bonus Point James Reimer continues to wait for that next start meanwhile. He hasnt made an appearance since Nov. 18 when the Leafs were blasted at home by Nashville. Obviously you want to play right, said Reimer earlier this week. Were born to play and youre born to want to be a difference-maker out there so yeah obviously Im looking forward to my next start and you want to get in there. But at the same time [Berniers] been playing really well and the teams been playing really well so right now my job is to support them and be a great teammate and work hard in practice. Thats what Im trying to do. Reimer will likely draw two of the next four starts. The Leafs play a pair of back-to-backs in the upcoming week, beginning with a Calgary-Detroit set on Tuesday and Wednesday. Stats-Pack .908% – Save percentage for Jonathan Bernier in his last eight starts. 8:47 – Average ice-time for Richard Panik, who has five goals this season. 8:28 – Shorthanded ice-time for Daniel Winnik against Vancouver. 1 – Point in the previous nine games for Peter Holland, who had a pair against the Canucks. 14:13 – Ice-time for Phil Kessel on Saturday. WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Former top-10 players Gael Monfils and Jurgen Melzer beat higher-ranked players Friday to advance to the Winston-Salem Open final. Monfils, the Frenchman ranked No. 43 in the world, overcame early struggles to beat 38th-ranked Alexandr Dolgopolov of the Ukraine 7-6 (11), 6-3 in the first semifinal at the Wake Forest Tennis Center. "Its very good for my confidence," said Monfils, who will play in his third tournament final of the season and his first since Nice, France, in mid-May. "Im not so happy with the way I played. I could have played better. I have to play better and be more sure of things." The 32nd-ranked Melzer, from Austria, then pulled off the biggest upset in the night match, beating American Sam Querrey -- at No. 29, the highest ranked player in the semifinals, and the crowd favourite -- 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. "Ive been serving well, and my ground strokes have been getting better from match to match," said Melzer, who also is playing in his third tournament final this season and his first since winning an ATP Challenger Tour event in Dallas in March. "After losing in the first round of my last two tournaments, if somebody would have told me I could be in the finals, I wouldve signed it." Monfils and Melzer each have four ATP tournament titles. Monfils holds a 4-0 lifetime record against Melzer, including a first-round victory in Munich in early May. "Every title means a lot," Melzer said. "Ive lost all the previous matches to him, so it will be a nice matchup tomorrow. Hopefully, I can pull it off, which would also be very good leading into the U.S. Open." Monfils -- ranked No. 7 in 2011 -- lost serve twice early and went down 4-0 in the first set to Dolgopolov. The Frenchman even received treatment on his left abdominal muscles and hip during the side exchange after the third game of the set. "I had a little pain before the match, and even during the match," said Monfils, who missed a month of action dealing with ankle and biceps injuries before playing in the final hard-court tournament before neext weeks U. Jimmy Garoppolo Super Bowl Jersey. S. Open. "It was a bit better (after the trainer) worked on it, but I still felt it during the first set," he said. "Its not a tear, but its very tight. I just have to take care of it, and I should be fine." After the injury break, Monfils broke Dolgopolovs serve twice to force the tiebreaker and win the first set. He then added two more service breaks in the second set. "It wasnt my best finish," said Dolgopolov, a Ukrainian who was playing in his first semifinal this season. "I was in the game, but every game I didnt finish out those important points. Game by game, he came back. "I was angry at myself -- I had too many chances. When you have that in your mind, after having played three matches (in the tournament), its tough to make yourself go out and forget about it." Melzer -- ranked as high as No. 8 in 2011 -- broke Querreys serve five times, and kept him off-balance for most of the match with his ground strokes and net game. Still, Querrey fought back after losing the first set, getting a pair of service breaks en route to winning the second set. He then held serve to open the third set and grab the early advantage. "I felt like I played really well for 1 1/2 sets," said Melzer, who lost two previous matches against Querrey. "Then I kind of lost it a little bit, got a little too passive on my side and forgot about the game plan. I was lucky in the beginning of the third (set) to not get broken again. But after that, I started playing well again." Querrey nearly pulled off another service break to open the third set, putting Melzer down 15-40 in the second game. But Melzer fought back to hold serve, then broke Querreys serve the next game to take the advantage. "I didnt feel my greatest out there," Querrey said, who lost in the semifinals for the second straight year. "I played a little sloppy in the first set, then that break in the second (set) helped me regain all the momentum. If I couldve stuck that other break in the third set, maybe it couldve been different." ' ' '

Hamilton was comfortably leading the Grand Prix in Kuala Lumpur when yet another reliability issue forced him to retire and left him trailing Nico Rosberg by 23 points in the title race. With just five races to go Hamilton looks unlikely to overhaul his Mercedes team-mate but insists he remains positive heading into Japan this weekend. Nico would deserve title Rosberg would be a deserved world champion if he holds off Hamilton, claims Damon Hill Of course, last weekend was a massive disappointment, he said. Not just for me personally but for the whole team. But theres no use dwelling on these things.Thats just negative energy. All we can do is focus on the next race, taking things one step at a time and doing the best job we can. The guys are hurting from what happened too and I know theyll be working just as hard to get things right next time.  Regardless, I will find strength from within to fight back over these next five race weekends. If I can perform like I did last weekend and the car holds together, then good things can still come my way. Sky Sports commentator Damon Hill says Lewis Hamilton can still win the F1 Drivers Championship despite being 23 points behind Nico Rosberg Rosberg, who struggled into third in Malaysia as Daniel Ricciardo led home a Red Bull one-two, said he sympathised with Hamilton despite the boost it gave him in pursuit of a first drivers championship title.Sunday was not great for us, unfortunately, said the German. My race wass almost over before it even began and I feel for Lewis, as Ive been there myself and it sucks big time to have all those points taken away from you just like that. But I havent been thinking about the points situation all season and Im not going to start now. Im here to win races and thats the aim every time. Niki Lauda feels Lewis Hamilton has been let down by his Mercedes team after engine failure at the Malaysia Grand Prix severely damaged his title chances. Mercedes chief Toto Wolff said the whole team is feeling Hamiltons pain after the problems in Sepang but insisted the title race is not over yet.Weve talked amongst ourselves and said how is this possible? But there is no rational explanation or pattern in these failures. If there were, we would resolve it, said Wolff.  Does Lewis need to win all five? Hamilton has a mountain to climb after falling 23 points behind Rosberg, can he turn it around? Weve had that discussion with him and he understands that we are feeling his pain too. Despite his frustration, he has been trying to pick the team up and we admire him even more than ever for that. Its tough when these things come at a crucial point in a championship battle. Its a massive blow to his campaign. But the championship isnt over yet, there are still five races to go. Also See: Does Lewis need to win all five? The 35-year-old Lampard has been at Chelsea for 13 years and is the clubs all-time leading scorer but has not agreed to a new deal with the Premier League team. Lampard is currently with England in Miami for two World Cup warm-up matches before travelling to Brazil on Saturday. "When I arrived at this fantastic club 13 years ago I would never have believed that I would be fortunate enough to play so many games and enjoy sharing in so much success," Lampard said. "This club has become part of my life and I have so many people to thank for the opportunity." Lampard did not say where he expects to play next season, but has long been linked with a move to Major League Soccer in the United States. He won the Premier League three times, the Champions League and Europa League once each, four FA Cups and two League Cups. The Dallas Stars returned to the postseason, after missing for five straight years, and appear to be a team on the rise with two of the games best under-25 forwards leading the way. Nate Archibald Jersey . Off-Season Game Plan looks at a Stars team that is trending in the right direction, but likely needs an offensive boost to take the next step. The Stars were a strong puck possession team, that made the playoffs despite below-average 5-on-5 goaltending results (more a reflection on backups than starter Kari Lehtonen) and were carried offensively by Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin, who combined for 163 points on 231 Stars goals. They were also the only Stars forwards to finish with more than 35 points, so that could be the next area on which to focus for improvement -- boosting the secondary scoring so that the weight doesnt fall so heavily upon Benn and Seguin. "I think if you want to be a contender, you have to be deep down the middle," GM Jim Nill told the Dallas Morning News. "Thats something weve talked about over and over again." Having needs is not a big deal -- every team can get better -- but the Stars are in a good position because, after last summers additions of Tyler Seguin and Valeri Nichushkin, theyve added building blocks that give the team a reason to have a positive outlook. Now, its a matter of finding the right pieces for the supporting cast so that the Stars are ready to make noise in the postseason, taking the next step to compete with the powers of the Western Conference. The TSN.ca Rating is an efficiency rating based on per-game statistics including goals and assists -- weighted for strength (ie. power play, even, shorthanded) -- Corsi, adjusted for zone starts, quality of competition and quality of teammates, hits, blocked shots, penalty differential and faceoffs. Generally, a replacement-level player is around a 60, a top six forward and top four defenceman will be around 70, stars will be over 80 and MVP candidates could go over 90. They landed a premier young scorer around whom they could build and Seguin responded to an increased role in Dallas by finishing fourth in the league with 84 points. Signed to a team-friendly deal for five more years? Thats icing on the cake. Seguin paired with Jamie Benn on the Stars first line and they were a formidable tandem. Only Anaheims duo of Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, with 128 points, were teammates with more points than Benn and Seguin, who had 116 last season. Benn is a model power forward complement to Seguin and at 24-years-old, is hitting his prime. Over the past four seasons, Benn has been an elite offensive performer, ranking second only to Evgeni Malkin, in points-per-60-minutes during 5-on-5 play (minimum 3000 minutes). Seguin, still in the infancy of his career, ranks 14th on that list. An undrafted free agent out of Brown University who climbed through the Central Hockey League, ECHL and AHL before reaching the NHL, Ryan Garbutt is blue collar, yet surprisingly productive. He was one of four forwards to record at least 30 points and 100 penalty minutes last season and, since arriving in the league, this grinder has been generating shots on goal like a scorer. Over the past couple seasons, Rich Peverley has been one of the lowest-percentage finishers, among players that have generated at least 200 shots, but hes generally an effective and versatile forward who can move around the lineup as needed. The primary issue for Peverley is that he collapsed during a game last season and there is the possibility that the cardiac event will prevent him from playing again. Theres a lot of uncertainty regarding Peverleys future, so the Stars will need to have some options ready if Peverley cant make it back. After his rookie season, even though he scored one goal in 24 regular season games after the Olympics, it sure appears that the Stars stole Valeri Nichushkin with the 10th pick in last summers draft. He has a huge frame and has high-end skill; its just a matter of harnessing that talent and getting the most out of it. Nichushkin spent much of the year riding shotgun with Benn and Seguin and if the Russian teenager develops quickly, that line could be unstoppable. Alex Chiasson burst out of the gate, with nine points in nine games, before points and shots on goal dried up, and his ice time declined. A 6-foot-3 winger with some skill and a solid two-way game, Chiasson was one of the unluckiest players in terms of goaltending save percentage when he was on the ice. 35-year-old winger Erik Cole is two seasons removed from a career-high 35 goals, but that seems like eons ago. His production has fallen the past couple seasons and, with one year left on his deal, Cole could be a buyout candidate. Shawn Horcoff was a spare part for much of the season, playing under 12 minutes a game from January through April, and he wasnt terribly effective when he did play, but raised his game in the playoffs and the last year of his contract pays $3-million (compared to his $5.5-million cap hit). Cody Eakin provides a solid two-way game, but may not yet score enough to capably hold down a top-six role. At the same time, hes 23, so its possible that his offensive game could continue to grow, particularly if there is a skill upgrade on his wings. Agitator Antoine Roussel is becoming even more annoying to play against because, in addition to his in-your-face style of play, hes chipping in offensively. Since 2006-2007, there is one other forward (Steve Downie, 2009-2010) who, while accumulating more than 200 penalty minutes, had more than the 29 points that Roussel contributed last season. Picked up on waivers from Pittsburgh, Dustin Jeffrey is battling for his NHL life. He has 31 points in 124 career games, and last seasons 34 games represented a career-high, but with only 9:34 average time on ice. If the Stars were to seek another scoring centre, they could try for Paul Stastny or Mikhail Grabovski in free agency but, aside from those two, might be looking to the trade route for a bigger fish like Eric Staal or Jason Spezza. Those wont come cheaply, either, but that might be the kind of move to push the Stars to a new level. Trevor Daley was handling a reduced workload for the first three quarters of the season, before he ended up playing top pair minutes down the stretch. Thats a bit of a step up from what Daley has provided normally, thoughout his career, but the 30-year-old held his own, so its not unreasonable to expect that, next season, he could pick up where he left off. While it would be easy to pin a nepotism label on Jordie Benn holding a spot with the Stars, since his brother is a franchise player, but Jordie has earned his own place, making steady improvement and he averaged more than 20 minutes of ice time per game after the Olympic break last season. On the Stars, only Brenden Dillon has more hits and blocked shots combined than Benns 240 last season. 24-year-old Kevin Connauton was a part-time player in his first NHL season and while he didnt play a big role, or stand out especially, he was effective at getting pucks to the net. There appears to be competition available for the 5-6-7 spots on the Stars blueline, so Connauton might have a chance to earn more minutes. Veteran Sergei Gonchar was something of a free agent bust, with diminishing ice time, and just four points in his last 35 (regular season plus playoff) games. He still has a year left on his contract, but it would come as no surprise if the Stars sought a team to take the 40-year-old off their hands. At his salary, it may not be easy. Aaron Rome has played 52 games for the Stars, since signing as a free agent a couple of summers ago, and he hasnt done anything to suggest hes worthy of more than a part-time role. A rising young shutdown defender, Brenden Dillon has size, toughness and improved his skating enough to get signed as a free agent out of junior. Hes come a long way since scraping into the league as an undrafted free agent and, as a restricted free agent this summer, is likely due for a health pay raise. Dillon has been among the most effective Stars defencemen over the past couple seasons and, at 23, he should continue to get better. If the Stars are going to take a step forward, they could use another top-four defenceman, effectively to make up for the departure of Stephane Robidas, who was traded to Anaheim last season. Maybe thats prospect Jamie Oleksiak, or maybe it comes via free agency, where Matt Niskanen, Anton Stralman, Tom Gilbert or Andrei Markov would be among the potential free agent upgrades. Even with outstanding size, hes not very physical and has been relatively mediocre in 23 career NHL games, but a 21-year-old with his size and mobility should have a good chance at success. A 6-foot-4 power forward Brett Ritchie finished the regular season strong, with 16 points in his last 16 games before suffering a lower-body injury. Hes recently returned to the lineup for the AHL playoffs, and while Ritchie could start in the AHL next season, his upward trajectory should have him knocking on the door. Overhyped since he was picked 11th overall in 2010, Jack Campbell has struggled to perform at a high level consistently enough to know if hes going to make it to the NHL. While he missed a bunch of time with injuries this year, it is promising that he had a .942 save percentage in 16 AHL games. The 22-year-old could likely use another year of seasoning to show that he is ready. Drafted in the fourth round in 2007, Colton Sceviour has steadily improved to the point that hes on the cusp of the Dallas roster. He scored nine goals and 15 points in in 32 (regular season plsu playoff) games with Dallas, performing effectively in his first legitimate NHL look. A second-round pick in 2012, Devin Shore had a terrific sophomore season at Maine and his offensive upside puts him above some of the other Stars prospects. If Shore has a big junior season, as the Black Bears captain, he may be ready to turn pro. Picked in the fifth round in 2010, John Klingberg is a smooth-skating offensive defenceman who is coming off a strong season in the Swedish Hockey League. The 21-year-old should be ready to challenge for an NHL job quickly. Jason Dickinson is a skileld centre who was the 29th pick in last summers draft. Hes enjoyed a strong season on powerhouse Guelph team, scoring 102 points in 88 (regular season plus playoff) games. Hell need time to fill out, and get stronger, but he will be intriguing a couple years down the road. The 13th pick in 2012, Radek Faksa hasnt put up big scoring numbers, which limits his upside, but he has the size and conscientious play to make it in a checking role. Taken in the second round in 2010, Patrik Nemeth is a big, stay-at-home defenceman, and while he battled injuries last season, he struggled in eight games with Dallas; perhaps an indication that more time on the farm is needed. A third-round pick in 2010, Alex Guptill had 94 points in 110 games over three seasons athe University of Michigan, and now embarks on his pro career. He has size and offensive ability, but will need some time in the AHL as he gets accustomed to a pro schedule. Drafted in the second round last summer, Philippe Desrosiers is a promising, athletic goalie, but its goign to be years before its reasonable to have any expectations on his pro prospects. So far, so good. Curtis McKenzie was a sixth-round pick in 2009 and had four unremarkable seasons at Miami-Ohio, but had a superb first pro campaign, finishing second on the Stars AHL team in scoring. The Los Angeles Lakers hope to start the month of February on a good note when they open a three-game road trip tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Target Center. Air Max 270 React Doré . The Lakers will also visit Cleveland and Philadelphia, have lost four in a row on the road and are 8-18 as the guest this season. They are 3-12 on the road against Western Conference opponents. Los Angeles is mired in a six-game slide overall and dropped a 110-100 decision to the Charlotte Bobcats the last time out on Friday, when Pau Gasol finished with 24 points and nine rebounds. Nick Young added 21 off the bench and Jodie Meeks scored 19 points for the Lakers, who are only 3-18 in the last 21 games and shot 38.7 percent from the floor. "They just werent ready to play for whatever reason," said Los Angeles head coach Mike DAntoni. "Whether its the end of January, who knows, but its inexcusable." As has been the case almost all season, injuries are the main story for the Lakers. Kobe Bryant (knee) wont travel with the team on this trip and it was announced Gasol (groin) would also stay in LA for rehab. However, there is some good news as all three injured point guards, Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Jordan Farmar, appear ready to return to the lineup. "Theyre all good," DAntoni said. "I think theyre all ready to go. Theres a possibility all three could play (at Minnesota)." Lakers center Chris Kaman is probable Tuesday because of a sore knee and he has missed the previous seven games. He might get the starting call with Gasol shelved, although Kaman has basically fallen out of the rotation. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have dropped two in a row and three of five games, including Saturdays 120-113 setback at Atlanta. Kevin Love pumped in 43 points and grabbed 19 rebounds, while Kevin Martin and J.J. Barea added 17 and 12 points, respectively, for the Timberwolves, who finished shooting 44 percent from the field. Barea was ejected with 6:43 left in the fourth quarter after receiving his second technical foul. "I didnt even know I had it (43 points) until I think Martin told me after the game. I was just trying to get us back in the game by any means," Love said. "Teammates set me up with a lot of good shots. A loss, especially right now, is tough." Love has posted three straight double-doubles and nine in the last 10 games, posting an average of 25.3 points and 13.3 rebounds in that time. Minnesota has dropped 11 straight in Atlanta and will visit Oklahoma City and New Orleans after hosting the Lakers. The TWolves, who are 13-9 in the Twin Cities, have split two meetings with Los Angeles this season and will host the Lakers on March 28. The Lakers have won 26 of the last 28 matchups with Minnesota and are unbeaten in 11 straight and 12 of 13 contests at the Target Center. That was a really good team we played, said Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon. Their zone was tough, their offense was really good and they have really good players. They did not have any weak spots. Fred Miller gave 13 points, five boards and five assists and Ty Greene added 11 for the Spartans (8-3), who had a three-game winning streak broken. The Terrapins were trailing by four points to start the second half, and were down by seven when Jared Nickens hit a 3-pointer that kicked off a 12-2 run with Layman capping the burst on a layup for a 38-35 lead six minutes in. I thought we did a lot of good things, but we had three or four possessions and made mistakes, said USC Upstate head coach Eddie Payne. You cannot make errors against a team like this, because they make you pay and Maryland did that. Even with entirely justifiable concern over his health, considering he has played just 99 of 212 regular season games over the last three seasons, Sidney Crosby is the player Ive projected to finish atop the NHL scoring race in 2013-2014. Myron Pryor Jersey Retro . Last season, Crosby was in the lead when he suffered a broken jaw, costing him the last 12 games of the regular season and he finished four points behind Tampa Bays Martin St. Louis, who finished with 60 points in 48 games. If there is a positive to be taken from the injury that shortened Crosbys 2013 campaign, its that his injury was a broken jaw and not additional concussion troubles that have plagued him in previous seasons. If that means that Crosby might, possibly, be a little further removed from his latest concussion, then that could provide some reason to be optimistic about his health going into this season. Of course, when a player misses 113 of 212 games, any optimism over health needs to be tempered, but even with Crosby projected to play 64 games, his 102-point projection is good enough to rank at the top, ahead of St. Louis and St. Louis centre, Steven Stamkos. Though hes only led the league in scoring once, in 2006-2007, over the last three seasons, Crosby has scored 159 points in 99 games, his 1.61 points per game far-and-away the best in the league. His teammate, Evgeni Malkin, ranks second at 1.20 points per game, in that time frame. While Crosby is the pick at the top of the scoring race, when it comes to position-by-position Fantasy rankings, Steven Stamkos gets the nod at centre, for his off-the-charts goal-scoring and the fact that hes been much, much healthier than Crosby. In the last three years, Stamkos has 134 goals, 32 more than Alex Ovechkin and Corey Perry, who are tied for second. Injuries are unpredictable and, given the nature of the game, can hit a player at any time, but it sure feels safer to peg Stamkos at the top of the centre rankings when hes missed only three games in five NHL seasons (and they were all in his rookie year). Other position leaders in the Fantasy Projections (which incorporate goals, assists, plus-minus, power play points, hits and shots on goal) include Ovechkin at right wing, Daniel Sedin on left wing, Erik Karlsson on defence and Henrik Lundqvist in goal. This is just the beginning of TSNs Fantasy Hockey coverage for this season, as we prepare to launch the Fantasy Hockey League Manager and Ill have many more articles and updated rankings in preparation for October 1, when the puck drops on the 2013-2014 NHL regular season. You can watch the game live on TSN2 at 7pm et/4pm pt. The Raptors finished the 2012-13 season with a 34-48 record, but have plenty of optimism going forward after finishing 18-18 once the team acquired forward Rudy Gay. Gay and fifth-year pro Demar DeRozan led the Raptors to a 6-1 preseason record, which included two victories over the Celtics. The spotlight for the Raptors will be on sophomore player Jonas Valanciunas, who is expected to have a breakout season after several strong performances in the NBAs Summer League. Despite the promise of several young players on the Raptors roster, head coach Dwane Casey knows his game plan will be about more than winning games on talent alone. "We have to be a team that competes, that scraps, that fights," Casey said. "Were not going to out-talent anyone, were not going to just go out and jack up threes over anyone. Weve got to outscrap and outfight anybody we go against. Thats what Ive got written down on a piece of paper in my mind." This game will be the first step for the Raptors in their quest towards making the pllayoffs for the first time since 2008 and ending the longest playoff drought of the teams 19-year history. Rod Rutledge Jersey Retro. MLSE CEO Tim Leiweke said "theyre out to prove something this year" when asked about Canadas lone NBA entry. General Manager Masai Ujiri backed Leiwekes statement, describing the teams identity as being all about "toughness." While the Raptors hope to fight towards the playoffs this season, the Celtics seem to be headed in an opposite direction. The Celtics traded stars Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry to the Brooklyn Nets in the offseason, in addition to dealing their head coach, Doc Rivers, to the Los Angeles Clippers. The former powerhouse Celtics are now in the midst of a major roster overhaul and are expected to struggle mightily. The lone all-star who remains with the Celtics, Rajon Rondo, will not play as he continues to rehab a torn ACL. This game will be the first look at the rebuilding Celtics and should feature plenty of playing time for Canadian Kelly Olynyk. Olynyk was taken 13th overall by the Celtics in this years draft and finished third on the team with 72 points in eight preseason games. Wednesday night will mark the opening of the Raptors 19th season in the NBA. ' ' '

CLEVELAND -- Ugly, sloppy or abbreviated, the Cleveland Indians will take wins any way they can get them right now. Vans Sk8 Hi Sale . This is no time to be picky. This is playoff time. Zach McAllister lasted five innings and the Indians got two unearned gift runs from Houston in a 2-1, rain-shortened victory over the Astros on Friday night and moved into one of the two AL wild-card spots. The game was delayed for 1 hour, 9 minutes before the umpires decided to call it after 6 1-2 innings. Shortly after Clevelands win, Texas lost to Kansas City, allowing the Indians to jump the Rangers in the wild-card standings. Its the first time the Indians have been atop the ever-changing board since Aug. 4. "For us to be able to get this win, regardless of how we got it, its all about the Ws at this point," first baseman Nick Swisher said. "And if we keep winning, the season keeps going, and hopefully everyone here in Cleveland gets real happy." The Indians, who entered the night trailing both Tampa Bay and Texas by one-half game for a wild-card spot, scored an unearned run in the second and fourth innings off Brett Oberholtzer (4-4). McAllister (9-9) allowed just one run and got a key double play in the fifth as well as a diving catch by centre fielder Michael Bourn in the first inning, a defensive gem that set the tone. Cleveland also got two innings of hitless relief from Marc Rzepczynski and Bryan Shaw, who struck out three of four batters he faced for his first save. Brandon Laird homered for the inept Astros, who committed three errors, lost their seventh straight and fell to 51-103 -- four losses shy of matching the club record set last season. "Errors are a part of the game," Astros manager Bo Porter said. "We all know that, but at the same time you expect those plays to be made in a major league baseball game." The win improved Clevelands record to 48-18 against teams currently below .500 -- the majors best mark -- and perhaps the biggest reason the Indians have a chance to make the playoffs for the first time since 2007. With a very favourable schedule ahead, the Indians were hoping to capitalize on a four-game series against baseballs worst team to stay in the wild-card fray. They needed 11 innings on Thursday to finally beat Houston 2-1, and then got a major assist from the awful Astros -- and Mother Nature -- to win again. As they waited out the delay, Indians fans kept tabs on the Tampa Bay-Baltimore and Texas-Kansas City games on Progressive Fields giant scoreboard. It was a similar scene in Clevelands clubhouse as players stayed tuned to the action elsewhere. "Theres 18 TVs in here, theres games all over the place," Swisher said. "Theres games you might not even want to be watching that are on. Right now, its watch time. Weve got ourselves in a great spot and just to be able to be here, a complete turnaround from last year, its exciting. Its nice. It feels like people are jumping on board right now and its the perfect time to do it." McAllister worked in and out of trouble in the fifth, when his slim lead seemed about to vanish. The Astros loaded the bases on a single, walk and single, but the right-hander got leadoff hitter Jonathan Villar to bounce into a 4-6-3 double play to preserve Clevelands 2-1 lead. McAllister threw four straight balls to Jose Altuve to start the sixth and was immediately lifted by Indians manager Terry Francona, who wasnt going to wait for the situation to worsen and went to his bullpen. Rzepczynski came on and got two outs -- one when catcher Carlos Santana threw out Altuve trying to steal -- before Shaw struck out Chris Carter. With the heavy rain approaching, and the weather forecast looking bleak, the Indians took a 2-1 lead in the fourth thanks to two errors by the Astros on one play. Ryan Raburn hit a one-out single and Asdrubal Cabrera walked. Michael Brantley then hit a grounder to first baseman Carter, who tried to get a forceout at second but threw wildly into left field, allowing Raburn to score. Both runners advanced when a throw to the plate by left fielder Marc Krauss hit a sliding Raburn in the shoulder and the ball skipped to the backstop, a sequence more suited to a Little League field than a major league ballpark. McAllister got two quick outs in the second before Lairds fourth homer gave the Astros a 1-0 lead. NOTES: The Indians are 14 games over .500 for the first time since May 24, 2011. ... Indians RHP Justin Masterson (oblique) threw a 33-pitch bullpen session, and its possible the All-Star could pitch if the Indians make the post-season. Masterson, who has been out since Sept. 2, will be re-evaluated Saturday and could throw a simulated game as soon as Monday. ... The Indians have spread around the walk-off wealth. Then they got a call from their daughter-in-law, telling them he wouldnt be starting Friday. In the clubhouse at Citi Field, Tanners phone beeped. "My mom is texting me, Whats happening?" Tanner remembered. "They were bummed out." Jordan Zimmermann had a fever and was vomiting, so Roark started Thursdays series finale against the New York Mets on just three hours notice. After a shaky first inning, Roark recovered and the Nationals rallied for an 8-2 victory and an opening three-game sweep. "I just go with the flow," the 27-year-old right-hander said. "Whatever they tell me to do, its what Im here for." Ryan Zimmerman tied his career high with four hits, including three that led off innings. His second-inning home run off Zack Wheeler (0-1) started the Nationals comeback from a 2-0 deficit. Washingtons leadoff batter reached in the first seven innings, and the Nationals rallied to win for the third time in the series. While Washington opened 3-0 for the second straight season, the Mets fell to 0-3 for the first time since 2005. They had not lost their first three home games since 1997. "Theyre proud of the way theyve played so far and so am I," Nationals first-year manager Matt Williams said. "Just the way theyre grinding." Roark (1-0) made his major league debut on Aug. 7 last season and went 7-1 with a 1.51 ERA in five starts and nine relief appearances. He got just two swings and misses in the first four innings and fell behind 2-0 in a 30-pitch first but wound up allowing just the two runs and six hits in six innings with three walks and five strikeouts -- including his final four batters. "Thats what Tanners done since basically we called him up last year," Zimmerman said. "When its his turn to pitch, he goes out there and challenges the hitter. Vans Store Near Me. . He throws a lot of strikes and works quick." Roark allowed an RBI double in the first to Curtis Granderson, who had been 0 for 9 with the Mets, and Juan Lagares sacrifice fly. Then he started making adjustments. "I was letting the ball go and not trying to pinpoint and try to nibble as much," he said. Wheeler gave up three runs and seven hits in six innings, trying to work out of trouble for much of the afternoon before a small crowd of 20,561, a couple hundred above Citi Fields record low. Washington went ahead 3-2 in the fifth when Denard Span hit an RBI single to right, advanced as Granderson heaved a two-hop throw home and scored on Jayson Werths two-out single. The Nationals broke open the game with a four-run seventh against relievers Scott Rice and Jeurys Familia that included a two-run single by Adam LaRoche off the glove of first baseman Lucas Duda. "I assure you, were better than what youve seen the last three days," Mets manager Terry Collins said. Soon after that, thoughts turned to the home opener against Atlanta. Roark said his parents and in-laws still plan to be in the stands at Nationals Park on Friday and Saturday. "Theyll still get there, spend time together, so thats good," he said. "First time in D.C., so that will be fun." NOTES: Washington pitchers struck out 39 in the series, third-most in any teams opening three games since 1914, according to STATS. The only teams with more were Texas last year (43) and Cleveland in 1966 (42). ... Mets 2B Daniel Murphy returned from paternity leave and had a throwing error and a fielding error in his season debut. ... Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson presented the Rick Rescorla National Award for Resilience to the New York Mets, Walgreens and Monsignor John Brown, then bounced the ceremonial first pitch. ... Werth was 6 for 13 in the series and Zimmerman 6 for 14. ' ' '

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands - Top-seeded Juan Martin del Potro of Argentina returned after a month out with injury to advance to the second round of the ABN Amro tournament on Wednesday. Gus Williams Jersey . The defending champion beat Gael Monfils of France 7-6 (6), 6-3, while second-seeded Andy Murray of Britain dispatched Edouard Roger-Vasselin, also of France, 6-3, 6-3. Making his first appearance since injuring his wrist a month ago, Del Potro had difficulty with his service games in the first set. Monfils served up 5 aces to zero and was also the first to take a mini-break in the tiebreaker, before he double-faulted and allowed Del Potro to reassert control. In the second set, the Argentine was dominant, breaking Monfils serve in the fourth game. The only hint of trouble came in the deciding game, when Monfils took Del Potro to two break points. But Del Potro saved both and went on to seal the victory. "My wrist is getting better by the day and it was fine today against Monfils," he said. "Its always difficult to come back after an injury, but I hope I can hold on to this level of play." Murray, who won the tournament in 2009, worked efficiently against Roger-Vasselin, winning in just under 90 minutes. The Wimbledon winner saved four break points, all in the second set. Del Potro faces Paul Henri-Mathieu of France in the second round, while Murray plays Dominic Thiem of Austria. Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork. Air Max Plus Store .com) - Trevor Harris threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns as the Toronto Argonauts kept their postseason hopes alive with a 23-5 victory over the Ottawa RedBlacks at the Rogers Centre. Harris started in place of Ricky Ray, who was sidelined after suffering a concussion last weekend. Harris played well for Toronto (8-10), completing 26-of-36 pass attempts, although he was intercepted once. John Chiles caught six passes for 101 yards and a score. Toronto now needs Hamilton to lose tomorrow against Montreal to earn a spot in the playoffs. Ottawa (2-16) will not be competing beyond Fridays regular-season finale. Henry Burris started the game, but completed only 7-of-13 pass attempts for 94 yards and an interception. Danny OBrien replaced him and completed 13-of-25 attempts for 161 yards and an interception. Toronto scored two majors in the first quarter. The first came on a 12-yard touchdown pass from Harris to Chiles and the second was a three-yard scoring strike from Harris to Chad Owens. Swayze Waters connected on field goals of 39 and 22 yards in the second quarter to boost the Argonauts to a 20-0 lead before halftime. Brett Maher kicked a single on the opening kickoff of the second half, giving Ottawa its first points of the contest. He added another single, this time on a 54-yard punt, later on in the period. Maher continued to be the only player to post points for Ottawa, drilling a 22-yard fie4ld goal early in the fourth quarter. Waters added to the Argonauts lead with a 45-yard field goal midway through the final frame. Game Notes Burris is the only quarterback in the CFL to start all 18 games this season ... Jason Barnes and Owens each had six receptions ... Khalil Paden led Ottawa with 89 yards on two catches ... Nick Rosamonda had two of Torontos three sacks. Vapormax Plus Black Sale . The future hall of famers stole the show at the Bell Centre on Tuesday night, with Jagr moving into seventh place in all-time goal scoring and Brodeur stopping 29 shots as the Devils downed the Montreal Canadiens 4-1. Vapormax Plus White Sale . -- David Ortiz saved his only hit for a key moment for the Boston Red Sox.The new Barclays Premier League season gets underway on Saturday and prior to the first kick, TSN.ca presents a week long look at some of the teams and stories that will shape the up coming campaign. Champions League and European qualifying might be the aim for squads at the top of the table, but for teams at the bottom half, survival is the name of the game. Crystal Palace and Swansea City lead the list of teams looking to make inroads this season, all the while avoiding the dreaded drop to the Championship. CRYSTAL PALACE Manager: Tony Pulis Last Season: 13-6-19 (11th in Premier League) When Ian Holloway was sacked as Crystal Palace manager after a seven-game losing streak last October, few envisioned that a team that managed a measly four points from its first 11 matches would survive the drop, let alone almost finish in the top half of the table. But thats exactly what Tony Pulis was able to once he took the reins of the south London side, reinvigorating a fan base fearing another season in the Championship after only being promoted that spring after an eight-year absence from the top flight and finishing strong in losing just twice in its last 10 matches. Whether or not the Eagles can reach the heights of last season remains to be seen, but the club has retained all of its key contributors including standout midfielder Mile Jedinak, newly re-signed keeper Julian Speroni and forward Marouane Chamakh, who re-upped on a two-year deal after scoring six goals last term following his move across London from Arsenal. Pulis was able to add some veteran help to his squad in the transfer window, drafting in forward Fraizer Campbell (Cardiff City) and stalwart defender Brede Hangeland (Fulham). Still, Pulis would like to do more in the transfer market and likely isnt finished, though loan signings, especially ones to bolster an attack that scored a paltry 33 goals last season, appear to be preferred over permanents with the likes of Steven NZonzi (Stoke City), Jonjo Shelvey (Swansea City) and former Palace winger Wilfried Zaha (Manchester United) attached to the club in recent days. May will be the month to keep an eye on for Palace with dates at home to United and away to Chelsea and Liverpool on the docket. If the team can make it to the seasons final month in good shape and not needing to rely too heavily on results from those match-ups for safety, Pulis and company should be looking towards another season in the Premiership. (The Canadian Press) SWANSEA CITY Manager: Garry Monk Last Season: 11-9-18 (12th in Premier League) Navigating the rigours of the Premier League and Europa appeared to be too much for the Swans last season and it cost Michael Laudrup his job in February. Former club captain, and still an active player at the time, Garry Monk stepped in admirably as interim boss and guided the club to safety with the team winning three of its last four matches. Monk was rewarded for his efforts, being named permanent manager in May and given a three-year contract. Monk looks ahead to this season with a club that is in the midst of a facelift. Gone off to Spurs are Dutch international keeper Michel Vorm and his best defender last season Ben Davies, while striker Michu has been loaned to Napoli and defender Chico Flores now plies his trade with Qatari side Lekhwiya. In their stead, Monk has brought aboard goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (Arsenal) and Colombian World Cup star winger Jefferson Montero (Monarcas Morelia) and Iceland international midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson returns to Wales after two seasons with Spurs. Club captain Ashley Williams was also signed to a new deal, fending off interest in the defender from the likes of Liverpool and Monk could further complement his backline when an expected move for Argentine international defender Federico Fernandez goes through later this week. Still, this Swansea team will live and die with its offence. Last season, Ivorian international Wifried Bony had 25 goals in all competitions for the club following his move from Vitesse. Though there were reports that the 25-year-old was unsettled at the club earlier this summer, it appears now that hes staying and Swansea will need a repeat performance from Bony if it intends to equal last seasons finish. Bony will likely be partnered up front with French international Bafetimbi Gomis, who came over on a free from Lyon. This duo, combined with Montero on the wings, is capable of giving any BPL defence a rough afternoon. Like it is for Palace, May could be significant for Swansea. Manchester City visits the Liberty and the Swans head to London to take on Arsenal before a date with Palace on the seasons final day. WEST HAM UNITED Manager: Sam Allardyce Last Season: 11-7-20 (13th in Premier League) Its somewhat surprising that Big Sam is entering his fourth season in charge at Upton Park considering the freefall in which the Hammers finished last term, losing five of its last six. Though, West Ham did finish eight points above the drop, it was still too close for comfort for most supporters and a change at the helm of the team was expected, but Allardyce remains. What also remains is injury troubles for its star striker. English international Andy Carroll is out yet again, this time for four months with an ankle injury. Carroll was to be a big part of what the club planned to be a revitalized attack following the hiring of Teddy Sheringham to work with the teams forwards and the additions of Mauro Zarate (Velez Sarsfield) and Ecuadoran international Enner Valencia (Pachuca). Club captain, Kevin Nolan, who was relied upon heavily (perhaps, too much) last season when Carroll was out, will again be asked to shoulder some of that same load. The status of talented, but troubled, attacking midfielder Ravel Morrison is up in the air, following a late July arrest for assault on his ex-girlfriend and her mother. The injuries are not limited to attack for the Hammers, either, with recent loan signing from Arsenal Carl Jenkinson and fellow defender Guy Demel both out to start the new campaign with hamstring ailments. The story, though, will be early form. If West Ham fails to hit the ground running, Allardyce will be the fall guy. That said, there is little fear for relegation for the Hammers, but at the same time, there is not a lot here to suggest that the team will fare any better than it did last season. SUNDERLAND Manager: Gustavo Poyet Last Season: 10-8-20 (14th in Premier League) After the eccentric Paolo Di Canio was let go with the Black Cats dead last in the league, Gus Poyet saved the day, improbably guiding Sunderland to safety, including four wins in last five matches, and taking the team to the League Cup final after a thrilling semi-final victory over Manchester United. If anything, the rollercoaster ride that was last season should prepare Sunderland fans for this campaign, which will in all probability see the club once again fighting tooth and nail to avoid relegation. Why? Simply put, the depth just isnt here across the board, especially in the back where an aging central defensive pair (Wes Brown, soon to be 35, and John OShea, 33) will be asked to do more than its likely capable of managing. Yet, Poyet will hope that a pair of players will chips on their shoulders will be catalysts for the Black Cats this term in Jack Rodwell and Steven Fletcher. Rodwell, once seen as a future fixture in the England midfield, is looking to turn the page on his career that hit a wall at Manchester City, where he was essentially frozen out of the first team, making only 16 appearances in his two seasons at the club. While injuries did play a part in the 23-year-olds inability to force himself into Citys plans, Rodwell is fully fit and eager to live up to the promise he displayed at Everton. Injuries also derailed Fletchers campaign in 2013-14. Two years ago, the Scotland international scored 11 times in his first season with Sunderland after coming over from Wolves, but found himself on the trainers table more often than not last year when the team manaaged to score only 40 goals on the term. Air Max Plus Discount. Having Fletcher back to fitness will give Poyet another proven goal-scoring option going forward to complement American international Jozy Altidore (injured at the World Cup, but expected fit for the seasons start) and Connor Wickham, if he stays at the Stadium of Light. Wickham, who scored five crucial goals in the last six games of the season for Sunderland, has been reticent to sign an extension with the club and has been the subject of transfer inquiries from the likes of West Ham. While Sunderland has yet to receive an offer to their satisfaction, its believed that the team will sell Wickham for the right fee. March could be telling for the Black Cats. There are only three league fixtures that month, but they are with Hull City (away), Aston Villa (home) and West Ham (home). Taking points from these clubs, who will likely be close by in the table, will be crucial for survival hopes. ASTON VILLA Manager: Paul Lambert Last Season: 10-8-20 (15th in Premier League) Villa is one of the original BPL teams and one of the seven clubs who have been in the Prem since its inception (with Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham the others), but the team has been in a relegation battle for the past four seasons. Well, here comes a fifth. Paul Lamberts youthful side has added some veteran experience in the offseason, yet with owner Randy Lerner looking to offload the club, a sense of unease is in the air and nothing seems certain for the Birmingham side. The team took advantage free transfers in the window, bringing in former England internationals midfielder Joe Cole (West Ham) and winger Kieran Richardson (Fulham), as well as defender Philippe Senderos (Valencia), a Swiss international. While Richardsons versatility might be useful and bringing in former BPL champions (Richardson with Manchester United and Cole with Chelsea) can never hurt, Cole has been ravaged by injuires in recent seasons and Senderos hasnt exactly shone over his near decade in the BPL and hes not exactly the type of centre-back who will shore up a defence that conceded 61 goals last season. Speaking of that backline, France international left-back Aly Cissokho, in from Valencia after spending last season on loan at Liverpool, is the clubs most high profile addition and will step into a spot were the club has had little luck in the last few seasons. The club also hopes to keep hold of Ron Vlaar. Though, the 29-year-old didnt have the best of seasons with the club last year, he was outstanding at the World Cup for the Netherlands and his name has hotly been bandied about in the rumour mill. Offensively, Lambert will have France international winger Charles NZogbia back to full health after missing all of last season with a ruptured Achilles and there are reports that prolific striker Christian Benteke could be ready to go as soon as September following Aprils Achilles tear that saw the 23-year-old miss Belgiums World Cup campaign. Gabby Agbonlahor and Fabian Delph, last seasons player of the year as voted by fans, were terrific last season and the team will be need more of the same this time around. Former England international striker Darren Bent also returns from a loan spell at Fulham. If Lambert, whose hold on his job has been tenuous, at best, during his two years in charge at Villa Park, is sacked at any point during the season, it appears the job will go to his brand new number two, Manchester United legend, Roy Keane. Keane, who holds the same role with the Irish international side under Martin ONeill, hasnt managed in the BPL since he left Sunderland in December of 2008. Needless to say, the injection of the fiery Keane into a relegation scrap could at yet another entertaining dimension to what already should be a tumultuous battle. HULL CITY Manager: Steve Bruce Last Season: 10-7-21 (16th in Premier League - Qualified for Europa League) Steve Bruces side might have felt a little bit aggrieved to only finish 16th last season after having spent most of last year comfortably in the midtable, but going winless in its last five, including four losses, left the Tigers far away from 10th spot that they occupied following a March 1 win over Newcastle. Still, last season was a roaring success for Hull, with the team reaching the FA Cup final - the clubs first-ever final in its 104-year history. Though, the Tigers ultimately blew a two-goal lead and lost to Arsenal on Aaron Ramseys extra-time winner, the appearance means that Hull City makes its European bow with an appearance in this seasons Europa League qualifiers. And it is this European adventure that could define this season for Bruces charges. Time and time again, BPL sides have found themselves incapable of mounting domestic and European campaigns at the same time. To wit, Spurs, Swansea and Wigan were the British contingent in Europa last season. All three clubs ended up firing their managers over the course of the last term. The strain put on a team to fight on both fronts (and thats not even including the FA and League Cup competitions) is obvious and one that clubs the size of Hull feel greater than the likes of a Chelsea or Arsenal. Even with Europa, the focus for Bruce will be improving on last years finish in the Prem and thats a very attainable benchmark. Jake Livermores loan from Tottenham was made permanent, while Robert Snodgrass (Norwich) and winger Tom Ince (Blackpool) add to a capable midfield led by Tom Huddlstone, who was a dynamo last season, his first with the club. Bruce will hope that the arrivals of Snodgrass and Ince will aid an attack that was positively anemic last season, scoring just 38 times. Full seasons from January signings Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic should also help ameliorate things, as well. While some of its rivals will look towards late season fixtures as key matches, Hulls opening matches could be paramount. The Tigers first five dates see very winnable games with QPR, Stoke City, Aston Villa, West Ham and Newcastle. (The Canadian Press) WEST BROMWICH ALBION Manager: Paul Lambert Last Season: 7-15-16 (17th in Premier League) The Baggies took the back door to safety, but avoiding relegation is avoiding relegation. Entering into a May 8 match-up with Sunderland, West Brom knew that they were still architects of their own fate, needing a single point to secure another season in the BPL. They proceeded to drop the match 2-0. Granted, it would have taken Norwich City overturning a -18 goal differential in the seasons final game for the Baggies to go down, but West Brom did themselves no favours in the late stages of their relegation fight. Last season was a nightmare on the whole for the club with Steve Clarke dimissed in December and his replacement, Pepe Mel, let go at seasons end. Thats to say nothing of the whole Nicolas Anelka experiment that failed miserably and ended in a racism row. The man chosen to turn the page came as a surprise to most in former Everton youth team coach Alan Irvine, who hasnt coached a first team since being let go by Sheffield Wednesday in 2011. Irvine will have work to do to win over Baggies supporters, but their favour can easily be curried with survival come May. West Broms biggest addition comes in Nigeria international striker Brown Ideye (Dynamo Kiev). The acquisition of the 25-year-old at 10 million pounds shows ambition, but it comes with great risk, as forwards capable of scoring in Russia rarely have their prowess translate over to the Prem. More prudent were the acquisitions of England international Joleon Lescott (Manchester City) and Andre Wisdom (on loan from Liverpool). The pair could partner at the centre of a new-look backline. With staying up the goal coming into the year, accruing points early and often will be the best course of attack when you consider how the season ends for the Baggies. Collecting points from their last five matches (Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea and Arsenal) might just be too big of an ask. ' ' '

The Chicago Blackhawks took a 2-1 lead into the third period, fell behind and rallied to win, all in less than 11 minutes of game action, earning a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Kings in Game Six, setting up a Game Seven in Chicago for all of the proverbial Western Conference marbles. Ed Davis Jersey . Blackhawks RW Patrick Kane came up big when it counted, tallying two goals and an assist. He scored the game-winner with 4:45 remaining in the third period, stopping on the right hashmarks, carrying the puck up through the top of the Kings zone, then firing a wrist shot from the top of the circles past Jonathan Quick, who had his view obstructed by Andrew Shaw. Kane, who had no points in the first three games of the series, now has eight points in the last three games; his 18 points lead the Blackhawks and is tied with Kings LW Marian Gaborik for third in the playoffs. Kanes one assist was on Duncan Keiths game-tying goal, with 8:26 remaining. Keith had no points and one shot on goal in the previous three games. Blackhawks D Brent Seabrook contributed a couple of assists and had the best possession stats for Chicago in Game Six, on for 17 shot attempts for and 11 against (60.7%) during 5-on-5 play. With Seabrook off the ice, the Blackhawks had 40.0% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts. Seabrooks 14 points in the playoffs ties Montreals P.K. Subban for second among defencemen.   Kings D Drew Doughty is the top-scoring defenceman, with his goal and an assist Friday giving him 16 points in 20 playoff games. Doughty and partner Jake Muzzin were on for 65.7% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts. Doughty also set up Alec Martinez for the go-ahead goal, 2:06 after Doughty had scored to tie the game at two. Martinez also had a monster possession game, on the ice for 20 shot attempts for and nine against (69.0%) during 5-on-5 play, and leading the Kings with nine shot attempts in the game. Los Angeles controlled possession in Game Six, earning 57.3% of all shot attempts in the game, outshooting Chicago 29-25, and the Kings hold a slight possession edge in the series. Will that be enough to get them past the formidable Blackhawks in Game Seven? It could come down to goaltending, which is practically a cliche in playoff hockey, but neither Corey Crawford (.879 SV% in the series) nor Jonathan Quick (.886 SV% in the series) has been great. With one game to determine the fate of the series, whichever one returns to form could shift the balance. The Oilers will try to get back in the win column on Monday when they continue a four-game road trip with a battle against the Buffalo Sabres. Edmonton won its third straight game last Wednesday against visiting San Jose, beating the Sharks 3-0 as Scrivens stopped 59 shots to set an NHL record for saves in a regular-season shutout. Rich Kelley Jersey . He did one better Sunday by holing out a pitching wedge from 142 yards for eagle, capping a remarkable 28 on the back nine to win The Championship at Laguna National.St. Petersburg, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Matt Dayes rushed for two touchdowns in the third quarter as North Carolina State capped off a remarkable turnaround season with a 34-27 win over UCF in the St. Petersburg Bowl. Jacoby Brissett completed 15-of-26 passes for 262 yards with one touchdown for the Wolfpack (8-5), who had gone 3-9 in coach Dave Doerens first season in 2013. They played their butts off, said Doeren of his team. The rest of the coaches did a great job and the players made it all possible. Im really proud of all our players. Dayes totaled 78 yards on 13 carries while his backfield mate, Shadrach Thornton, rushed 17 times for 96 yards and added a touchdown pass. UCFs Justin Holman threw three touchdown passes to Josh Reese, the last coming with 1:44 left in the game, but the Knights (9-4), with no timeouts remaining, were unable to secure the onside kick. Give credit to NC State, they made some plays and we didnt make enough plays, said UCF head coach George OLeary. We just let the game get out of whack a little bit. Holman was 23-of-53 for 291 yards with one interception, and Breshad Perriman had 138 yards on nine receptions. Niklas Sade nailed a 45-yard field goal to give NC State a 34-13 lead early in the fourth quarter, but missed a 47-yard try wide right with 2:56 left to play, keeping UCFs hopes of a comeback alive. Holman threw a 19-yard pass to Perriman on 4th-and-14 from the NC State 43- yard line before hooking up with Reese for a 2-yard score. Reese hauled in a 14-yard touchdown earlier in the fourth. Shawn Moffitt kicked a 40-yard field goal for UCF to cap the games opening possession, then NC State responded on its first drive to take a 7-3 lead. Adrian Dantley Jersey. Thornton threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jaylen Samuels, who made the catch in tight coverage near the right sideline. Thornton managed to deliver the throw with a defender bearing down on him. The Knights, who captured their second straight American Athletic Conference title, reclaimed the lead when Holman hit Reese on a 6-yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter. But a blown coverage by the UCF defense led to a 37-yard touchdown grab by Johnathan Alston that put NC State back ahead shortly after. After a Knights punt, Brissett completed a 33-yard pass to Bo Hines on 3rd- and-22 from the Wolfpack 12 and then found Hines on a 45-yard strike. The long completion set up a 1st-and-goal at the 4, but NC State was held to a 19- yard Sade field goal. The Wolfpack were in position for another field goal attempt just before halftime, but the clock ran out when Brissett was sacked with no timeouts remaining. Brissett shook off the mistake by orchestrating a nine-play, 75-yard drive to begin the third. Dayes reached the end zone on consecutive runs of 11 and 24 yards after Alston caught a 12-yard pass on 3rd-and-7. Dayes later scored on a 15-yard run after Moffitt made a 36-yarder. The field goal was set up by a Brissett fumble. Game Notes The Wolfpack improved to 15-12-1 in bowl games, while the Knights bowl record fell to 3-4 ... Brissett added 31 yards on the ground and caught a 20-yard pass from Hines ... NC State outgained UCF 487-373. ' ' '

Before I even begin to express my thoughts of this off-season and the coming season, my congratulations and praise to the Saskatchewan Roughriders for winning the 101st Grey Cup and to the province of Saskatchewan and city of Regina for putting on an excellent show and experience. Yeezy 700 Salt Online . One of the best aspects of my job, maybe the best, is the experiences; the interactions with people you never forget. Whether it is meeting Tom Hanks briefly (class act) or the genuine enthusiasm and interaction of Riders and Ticats fans, I am confident I can speak for all that covered the game in saying you made us feel much more important and appreciated than we deserve. I sincerely hope the moment the new stadium is ready to roll the “Big Game" goes back to Regina with no hesitation. Overall this off-season has been a good and productive one. With new stadiums in Ottawa and Hamilton, future stadiums in Regina and Toronto, the most important aspects of the game – in-stadium fan experience and attendance – are progressing, not regressing. Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton is taking shape. The season ticket base is just about maxed out and the luxury boxes are all sold. I have yet to visit the stadium in Ottawa but I have a high level of confidence in the people running the Redblacks and what they are doing to make this organization viable. Its very important to have a CFL team in Ottawa for one big reason: it is our nations capital and will continue to enhance pride and patriotism in ourselves and our country. With Toronto, at the risk of sounding like a cheerleader, BMO Field would be perfect. I have walked around the stadium three or four times and the sight lines, angles, and proximity to the field are exceptional. Its basically on the same location as the old Exhibition Stadium and that location is excellent; not as congested as the Rogers Centre location and probably not as expensive. I dont dislike the Rogers Centre, at one time it was one of the most unique structures in North America, but BMO fits what is needed: more intimacy and less immensity. Trust me when I say this, its perfect! In on-field related issues, I like the challenge system as it relates to pass interference; the NFL will watch closely how it is executed and learn. But I also have concerns with flow of the game. Too many stops and starts in football make the game boring; I hate to say that but it is the truth. This is a pretty bold, precedent-setting move by the league. May I suggest one more? Eliminate the huddle from football with the exception of the beginning of a drive. Football players are pretty bright, they can run an entire offence without talking about it in detail after each play. Between TV timeouts, injuries, and challenges, the game is too long, especially NCAA football, which now runs anywhere from 3.5 hours to four. That is too much. How do you create a rule to keep the game flowing? Easy. Once a play is over, the offence must go back to the original position they began the play from, then the quarterback directs the play and players. Time constraints stay the same and every player that needs an ear piece can use one to offset the noise. The quarterback becomes a true quarterback, not an order taker. Realistic? I believe so. The entertainment value of the game would explode as there would be constant focus from the fans due to constant motion and action. It may be a difficult sell but as a viewer, anytime a team goes no huddle I regain and intensify my interest. Again the league could set a new standard of entertainment for the benefit of the paying public. They are, after all the most important revenue generators. Speaking of revenue, the Players Association wants a new, bigger and better deal. As a former player, I want the present players to earn more. CFL players are the most underpaid athletes in a combat sport I know. The league is not at a point where an increase can be so significant that it satisfies the desires of all. It is still a lean business that has developed stability, but not prosperity. There will be an increase for players, the amount is unknown. May I suggest this though, as a life lesson learned? It is not so much how much you make as it is how much you have and what you do with it. With an increase in revenue, the best thing the league and Players Association can do is get it out of the hands of the players to control spontaneous purchases. We have all heard the mind-numbing stories of athletes that make a lot yet have very little. And the truth is they have no one to blame but themselves. Hard pill to swallow. There will be more money, but making the money truly work so you can satisfy both your desires for security and adventure in life is critical. There is nothing more important in the CFL than the quality of the play and the player. And there should be nothing more important to that player than when his playing days are over he has physical, financial evidence he played. I dont know about you, but this was the most brutal winter I have encountered in a long time. I heard it was the coldest in Manitoba in 100 years. I am looking forward to watching a game without seeing my breath. Fall will come soon enough, but spring football sounds good to me! Cheap Yeezy 700 Mauve . The Colorado Avalanche are looking to take advantage of a home-heavy stretch and figure to have the right club visiting them next. Bruins Jerseys 2020 . The Edmonton Oilers will try to avoid a team-worst 12-game road slide in the first meeting between the Western Conferences two last-place teams Friday night. Colorado (14-15-8) beat Philadelphia 4-3 at home in overtime Wednesday on Ryan OReillys winner. OReilly has four points in his last four games to bring his season total to 21. Scoring a goal and contributing to a win is something Ive been missing a lot lately, so definitely to have that is a relief and something Ive got to continue to bring, OReilly said. The Avalanche, last in the Central Division, began a stretch of five home games out of six. We have five of our next six games at home and I thought it was important to start with a win, coach Patrick Roy said. Hopefully that will bring some confidence to our team. Confidence is in short supply for Edmonton (8-22-8), owner of the worst record in the league. The Oilers are 2-14-7 in their last 23. I think this team is pretty fragile right now, said winger Matt Fraser, claimed off waivers from Boston on Monday. I heard it a long time ago that losing can be contagious, and part of that, being a new guy in here coming from an organization like Boston, is youve got to bring that element of your game when youre not content with losing. Edmonton is 0-6-5 on its road slide after Wednesdays 4-3 overtime loss to Calgary. That matches the team record of 11 straight defeats set Dec. 23, 2009-Feb. 20, 2010, with all of those coming in regulation. Fraser scored on the power play as the Oilers were 1 for 3 after going 0 for 26 in their previous 12 road games. Edmonton has an NHL-worst 6.5 percent mark on the power play away from home. The Oilers are giving up 3.39 non-shootout goals per game for the leagues worst average, while the Avalanche allow an average of 34.0 shots on goal at home to rank last in the West. Edmonton has blown two-goal leads in its last two games, recovering to win 3-2 in a shootout over Los Angeles on Tuesday. Right now I love our starts, said winger Jordan Eberle, who ended a nine-game goal drought Wednesday. I love the way were competing for 40 minutes. It seems like the last two games, weve almost let them come at us and weather the storm and thats not how you win hockey games in this league. Edmontons Ben Scrivens is 0-4-4 with a 3.95 goals-against average in eight road starts while backup Viktor Fasth has an NHL-worst 3.50 overall GAA. Colorados Semyon Varlamovs eight regulation defeats against the Oilers match his most against any opponent. He is 1-4-0 with a 4.69 GAA in his last five starts versus them. The Avs took two of three from Edmonton last season. Vonn punctuated her near-perfect season in perfect fashion Friday, earning her fourth overall World Cup title with a dominating giant slalom victory. Cheap Bruins Jerseys . The bout served as the headlining matchup of Saturdays "UFC Fight Night: Brown vs. Silva" event, which took place at U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati. It was Silva who looked well on his way to victory in the early going, delivering a pair of crushing kicks to the body that sent Brown crashing to the floor, doubled over in pain. The St. Louis Cardinals had a major need at shortstop and signed a veteran free agent who, while having PED issues, has been a potent hitter throughout his career. Numbers Game looks at the Cardinals addition of Jhonny Peralta. The Cardinals Get: SS Jhonny Peralta. Peralta, 31, has been one of the more productive shortstops in baseball since sticking as a regular in 2005. From that point, Peralta has slugged 152 home runs, behind only Hanley Ramirez, J.J. Hardy and Troy Tulowitzki in that span, and Peraltas cumulative fWAR of 23.0 ranks seventh at the position since 2005. More recently, Peralta has a fWAR of 11.0 over the last three seasons, which ranks fourth among shortstops. So, weve established that Peralta can hit the ball, but he deserves credit for fielding too. Earlier in his career, with Cleveland, Peralta typically had a negative Defensive Runs Saved and negative Ultimate Zone Rating, indications that his glovework -- and especially his range -- werent necessarily up to snuff. However, while Peralta isnt a Gold Glove candidate, hes fared significantly better in Detroit and does have a strong arm, so he doesnt pose an immediate problem in the field. He is on the north side of 30, though, so it shouldnt come as a surprise if his range becomes an issue. The main concern with Peralta is how his 2013 season was sideswiped by a 50-game suspension for use of performance-enhancing drugs. He did hit a career-high .303 in 2013, before getting suspended, with an .815 OPS that was the third-highest of his career (following a .689 OPS in 2012, his lowest in a full MLB season), so its fair to wonder whether Peralta will be as productive if hes clean. It would probably be reasonable to assume that he wont be aas productive. Wholesale Bruins Jerseys. Nevertheless, even if Peralta isnt likely to duplicate his 2013 season for the next four years, he should be an upgrade on punchless Pete Kozma at shortstop for the Cardinals. St. Louis shortstops had an OPS of .583 last season, ranking 28th, so anything resembling competent offensive play would represent an upgrade. Peralta has fared well against the National League throughout his career, hitting .301 with an .856 OPS in 156 career Inter-League games. The Tigers reacted quickly when Peralta was suspended last summer, dealing for slick-fielding Jose Iglesias, who doesnt have Peraltas bat, but is much better in the field. Peralta is signed for four years and $52-million, significant money even for a starting shortstop, particularly because of the risk that, by the end of this deal, Peralta either may not be able to play shortstop or he may simply be a liability in the field. If his bat happens to slow down at the same time, the Cardinals could really regret the length of the contract, but its easy to see the appeal in adding a middle infielder who has pop in his bat, particularly when contrasted with the relative lack of offence that the Cardinals received from their shortstops last season. If Peralta happens to hit 12-15 home runs per season and turns out to be worth 8-10 wins total over the next four years, then hes probably fulfilled his side of the deal. If hes not capable of doing that clean, then the Cardinals are going to regret rolling the dice on a player caught using performance-enhancing drugs in 2013. Nash is hoping to return Friday, but the Lakers arent certain after the two-time MVP missed his 38th consecutive game. Despite struggling for long stretches on offence and making just 15 of their 27 free throws, the Pacers bounced back from Saturdays loss at Denver, their second in three games. Indiana led by five points late in the third quarter before making a 19-8 run, going up 93-77 on Stephensons layup with 7:26 left. Indianas opponents had averaged 109.5 points per game on this trip until the Pacers met the Lakers, who failed to crack 100 points for the first time in nine games. The injury-riddled Lakers gave 18 minutes of playing time to Manny Harris, who was in the D-League the last time Los Angeles played a home game. Harris went scoreless on 0-for-6 shooting. The 26-year-old native of Invermere, B.C., finished 12th in a World Cup downhill race over the legendary Hahnenkamm course. Thomsen met the Tier 1 criteria for nomination to Canadas Olympic team in the final race before the qualification window closed. Hannes Reichelt became the first Austrian winner of the event in eight years on Saturday, posting a time of two minutes 3.38 seconds. Norways Aksel Lund Svindal was second in 2:03.59 while American Bode Miller took third in 2:03.72. Starting 50th overall, Thomsen had a time of 2:04.80. Vancouvers Manuel Osborne-Paradis was 16th while Jeffrey Frisch, of Mont-Tremblant, Que., was 28th to earn his first top-30 World Cup result of the season. "Its been a whole season of just trying to get in the points," said Thomsen, whose best previous World Cup result this season was 37th in downhill in Bormio, Italy. "You lose so much confidence when youre not getting results. "I wanted to go out there and I wanted to get an amazing result. For me, 12th was an amazing result. It was just good enough -- Im so happy I wasnt 13th! I would put it in the top-five best runs of my life, feeling-wise." Thomsen went into the race knowing he needed a top-12 finish to secure an Olympic berth. When he crossed the finish line Saturday, Thomsen let out a loud yell. "Theres just something about Kitzbuhel,"he said. "There are so many people here and they love ski racing so much. "Its been a tough year but the team is always right behind you, pushing you, supporting you. When you come through the finish area and you look over to your teammates and see them smiling and celebrating its really special." With the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone looking on, Reichelt avoided the mistakes his rivals had made earlier. He was loudly cheered by 50,000 spectators when the green light for the fastest time appeared on the time table in the finish area. "This is like dream," said Reichelt, and admitted he had "little tears in my eyes" during the flower ceremony. "Being an Austrian, coming down this course and winning here in front of all these fans, is a huge present," he said. "This is a real highlight of my career. If you win here, you are a legend." Miichael Walchhofer was the last Austrian to win in Kitzbuehel in 2006, and Reichelts victory will be a big boost to the Austrian mens team two weeks before the start of the Sochi Olympics. Yeezy 350 V2 Outlet. The former "Wunderteam" left Vancouver without a medal four years ago and is poised to improve next month. Just 15 minutes before the race, Reichelt wasnt even sure he was going to start. Suffering from persistent back problem, the 33-year-old Austrian did some free skiing to find out whether he would be able to compete without unbearable pain. "I wasnt feeling too well (Saturday)," Reichelt said. "But I dont want to talk too much about my back problems. "If you win a race, it cant be too bad." Reichelt celebrated his seventh career win but only second in the discipline. Reichelt was also the last Austrian to win a World Cup downhill, in Bormio in 2012. By finishing second, Svindal extended his lead in the overall standings to 102 points over second-place Marcel Hirscher of Austria, who doesnt compete in downhill. Svindal also tops the downhill standings, leading Reichelt by 440-360 points. The Norwegian, who won a super-G here last year, is still chasing his first downhill win at the Streif. "Coming second in Kitzbuehel isnt too bad for a result," Svindal said. "Bode had a mistake, otherwise he would have been unbeatable. I was happy that I was ahead of him when I finished, but I knew you could be faster. And Hannes showed just that." It was the first downhill podium for Miller in almost two years. The American returned to the circuit this season after sitting out the complete 2012-13 campaign following micro-fracture surgery on his left knee. Miller had dominated the only training session two days ago but had a costly mistake during the race when he came off the race line at the Seidalm section halfway down the course. "Winning training runs doesnt do it for you," Miller said. "Youve got to execute on race day. Its too many times that Ive made these stupid mistakes that arent really forced. They are not forced errors. Its not on a tough part of the course, its just a real basic part. So, its pretty heartbreaking." The Hahnenkamm weekend is concluded by two World Cup events Sunday, with a super-G race that also counts as the first portion of a super-combined, followed by one floodlit slalom run. ' ' '

Toto Wolff does not believe Lewis Hamiltons performance at the Japanese GP was negatively affected by the fallout from the Snapchat press conference controversy. Vapormax Sale .
